been going through a lot of swings lately and after going over my stats there is a pattern on my main account that reads pretty badly and it really shows up where these downswings are coming from , dropping nearly 2.2k in SNGs really is terrible , i know i have not ran well in them for a while but its also the fact that these games are so much harder now than what they use to be a couple of years ago . to beat the rake in these things is hard enough but to make decent profit i think you need to be an exceptional player in this format as there are so many regs chasing the same $$$ with the same strategy . i have posted an old graph as well of an account i had a couple of years ago that was exclusively SNG and how you see the difference between then and now .
obviously after seeing where a lot of my losses have come from and the amount of rake i have paid added to the loss made me feel pretty ill and i dont plan to play any more of these games anymore as they are just too hard to beat nowadays . i plan to fill the SNG gap with some lower buyin MTTs which will be added to my normal schedule of MTTs . really need to try and lower the swings i have been having and im hoping after finding the problem i can now correct it .
